The Heintz & Becker De Soto Seafood Festival is quickly approaching once again! The 2019 Seafood Festival is returning to Sutton Park in Downtown Palmetto for another year, Sutton Park has been home to the Seafood Festival since 2014. The Hernando De Soto Historical Society has hosted produced the Seafood Festival in Manatee County for over 30 years!

The 2019 Heintz & Becker De Soto Seafood Festival will be held on April 5th, 6th & 7th at Sutton Park in Downtown Palmetto. After many years of fine-tuning the event it has become a regional “must-attend” festival for everyone that is composed of fresh Florida seafood, delicious cuisine, arts & crafts, entertainment and FREE family fun in the Kids Zone Sponsored by: NEXTGEN family magazine.

Chairman of the De Soto Seafood Festival, Rob Bell, says “we were one of one of the original festivals in Manatee County. The Seafood Festival has been around for so long, people know who we are and that they can expect a fun exciting event each year.” The attendees of the De Soto Seafood Festival annually expect us to provide national headlining acts, authentic arts vendors, and delicious seafood and multiple food options.

The 2019 Heintz & Becker De Soto Seafood Festival is offering FREE admission and a FREE Kids Zone, so everyone is welcome to enjoy the performances and activities this year! This year in the Kids Zone families can expect bounce houses, inflatables, face painting, and kids’ crafts. The Hernando De Soto Historical Society’s 2019 Queen’s Court will be introduced to the public for the first time at the De Soto Seafood Festival on Saturday at 5:30pm on the Main Stage!

Headlining the 2019 Heintz & Becker De Soto Seafood Festival is National Recording Artist, Craig Morgan and will be playing at 8:30pm on Saturday Night. Craig Morgan has charted seventeen times on the Billboard country charts with hits like “International Harvester”, “That’s What I Love About Sunday” and many more. Craig Morgan is a perfect match for this year’s Seafood Festival as “De Soto honors America’s Heroes”, Morgan is a U.S. Army Veteran. The Festival is offering one ticket off drinks to Military and First Responders this year. The other entertainment for the weekend includes The Dweebs, Highway to Hell, PItbull Toddler and more!
